getting the paint to blur and smudge depends on relative density. It might be easier using acrylic and oil, but then the surface could well become unstable.. Here are three panels on the dining-room table.
I have now bagged a cobblers' last on the local selling page. I shouldn't but I like to make little sculptures. Will Hammerite the large surfaces and then add my characteristic dots in enamel. And then invent a justification.
The biggest canvas I have used was 8x8' as part of an installation. The commissioning body offered a couple of hundred. The bespoke 'roof' cost £400. We are all chained down by the lack of money, or the horrid pressing desire for it!
