The Tattooist

I did a set of designs for a certain young man, but he reacted unfavourably to my wish to watch and draw him being inked. They were very geometrically complicated. So here is the plan and the transcription onto the surface of the body (though it has been modified in the process). The picture is thus about the transmission of ideas and how that falters.
