Glass Blowpipe

We are back at the myth of the magic twins in Xibalba, the Mayan underworld. They are tricksters. Their blowpipes remind me of a glass tube my grandfather gave me. felt-tip pen lids fitted snugly and could be launched at a target pinned to the fence, with one of my grandmother's hatpins pushed into the cap to make a pretty lethal dart.
